I read an article in the newspaper today that mentioned the "Steamblade" a device effective at removing window tinting, lettering, or vinyl wrap from vehicles.

It looks like a big garment steamer to me and got me thinking that the steamer we have in the closet might be effective at loosening my ratty hood stripes, albeit slowly.

Took me an entire 3 day weekend to remove the stripes from my Palm Beach with an eraser wheel. Actually, 8 eraser wheels!
In my experience, you need more than steam to remove 35 year old stripe tape.
