Hello,
Right now i am trying to sort out whats what, regarding new wheel bearings seals etc. I want to use Timken parts... Apart from being normally challenged !!, when it comes to wheel bearings and stuff i may as well be reading the latest book on the cosmos and hypertension in pre Devonian sea creatures.... Vol II

If anyone has a link to something that will educate me i would be very pleased.

cheers and beers

Steve,
There is more to the front bearing than installing proper bearings.
If your hub is not good along with the knuckle, you'll have wasted
your time in having a tight front end.
Once you do it correctly, you'll find that there is no need to lube
the front bearings for 50,000 miles. Plus if you install the grease
cert you ll be able to go 100,000.
Always check around the front grease seals , inner and outer for
grease leaks after a trip so you know that they are holding.
Should you see excess grease, then the bearing seals are failing.
Feel free to call me should you want to discuss as I have over 35
years of great experiance in this area,

Most people do not have the equipment or skills to properly check the front wheel bearings, knuckle and hub. IMO after having spent a lot of time and effort on this, you should call Dave Lenzi and just buy his knuclkes with hubs already assembled. They are expensive, but you will never have to take them apart again. The only maintainance you will need to do them is to put a grease gun to the Zirk every 15K or so miles. Do it right the first time and you won't have to do it again and again as so many of us have. JMHO
