The revcon brake system appears about identical to the GMC.
I'm redoing the rear lines and wheel cylinders ans shoes.
The new cylinders call for a slightly smaller fitting than was there before. So i took my new brake lines to NAPA in hopes of finding an adapter. I got something that looked right, it fit the brake line on one end and had a slightly smaller fitting on the other but it did not thread into the hole.
The NAPA person was not very knowledgeable, she just let me pick through a box of fittings. But I'm thinking there are some specific thread type issues here that I don't understand.
Meanwhile, I need one flexible line to go from a T on the axle to a steel line going forward, in about the same size (1/4 inch) ?
She handed me a book to look through but it really wanted to match it to a given car.
This should not be that difficult.

You have found your problem. Go to a different auto parts store. One with knowledgeable personnel.
I guess I'm lucky. Most of the parts stores in small towns around here seem to have good counter personnel. Towards Milwaukee the big chains don't seem to have competent personnel, just computer terminal operators.

Dave,
Check your springs as well, after 30+ years the springs deteriate. When
dropped they should have a slight ring to them not a dull thud.
Applied has the spring kit for $12 and that is for two wheels
