reference to lower steering shaft, yoke assembly as noted in parts book page 16.6 diagram 16.020.
one the end of mine where it attaches to what i would consider a small universal joint, book calls a journal kit. mine has what looks like a plug on that end,, plug may appear the size of a quarter. i assume made that way. Near the center of my plug there is a small whole(hole is maybe the size of 40 lb fishing line. i am not sure if rust hole, or if this hole is meant to be there. my journal pieces feel real tight, so between inspection and budget i do not wish to replaced complete assembly. i wonder if i should try epoxy on outside, or maybe insert something maybe like fitted piece of cork or ? then fill with greese and let greese push cork or rubber disk out as to seal this ?
