The other half wants somthing more comfortable than the OEM folded down settee in back. I bought the foam topper but she doesn't think that will cut it. Any suggestions on a topper of some sort that is more 'real mattress' like without doing any hard remodeling right now. Also I'd need those dimensions to fill that area with the 2 facing seats fully flat. Thanks.

JohnL,
We can sleep on the settee in our 23 (the same deal), but it could use some help.
We tried a memory foam topper and that worked pretty well, but it was hard to hide when we wanted to use the space for other than a bed. We might still be using it, but we "lent" it to a child and I have no idea when, if ever, we will see it again.
Next we tried a foam topper cut with lots of fingers. It was easier to hide, but not as good as the memory foam. It sure was cheaper.
Last we got an airbed mattress - standard double size - it was pretty good. It was pretty comfortable and easy to hide and unhide - if you have a pump. Unfortunately, it went flat in Shawnee and I have not yet managed an effective patch. It was good enough that I may look for another.
Good Luck

I bought a 3 inch memory foam topper at Costco. I cut it down to fit. Our rear bed is elevated and it made the bed very difficult to get into. It was just too much of a hassle and I gave it to my granddaughter. The next biggest problem was what to do with it when rolled up, it was huge.

What I did is take a cheap futon matress that I bought at a discount store. Never was happy with the comfort of the futon couch, so I used that futon in the back bed and bought a good one for the futon couch from Nebraska Furniture. It turned out well...very comfortable. Bought the futon couch from K-Mart.

We’ve had air mattresses and the Costco memory foam. The air mattresses were very comfortable, and rather handy - it seems that as they deflate my wife rolls toward me! No good for sleeping, but great for canoodling. The memory foam topper doesn’t offer the same enjoyment, but it does provide a more comfortable night sleep.

Our coach's previous owner gave us a large foam topper, but since my kids use the settee to sit on while traveling, the foam topper was just too big to store when not in use.
We like using an air mattress. With an electric air pump, it's relatively simple to set up and take down.

When we changed our rear twin beds to a kind, all I did was run plywood across
the twin bed frames. We bought a 2" memory foam pad and on top of that we put a
memory foam wedge, 1/4" at the front (feet), 6" at the rear. We have found this
to be more comfortable than our bed at home. Considering that the rear of the
GMC is typically lower, the wedge takes care of that. We purchased both from
Over-Stock.com, total cost was about $150.

The air mattresses are relatively cheap, can be used at home if needed, and don't take up a lot of space, so I'd try that first.
I slept on one for a few years back in college days, and it wasn't bad at all. Just watch out for keys. Cats, and other sharp things that can puncture the mattress.

Air Mattress: device that goes hisssss in the night!
GOOD ones can be VERY comfortable. We used one for a
couple of years after a tornado took our house and
water bed. Didn't have to pay to heat it, either!
