Greetings:

For anyone who might be interested in seeing what a “freshly” pulled set of bogie pins looks like…. Here you go!!!!

Just got the left bogie pins out and for the most part, not looking good Crying or Very Sad

But will take them by JimK’s for a final determination!

Though the bogie “shims” looked in pretty good condition.

By looking at the pins, it really shows the importance of the aftermarket Bogie Pin Greaser Kit – As the majority of the “scoring” was on the bearing surface farthest away from the zerk fitting!

But what was also interesting was that the majority of the scoring was on the “inside”, bearing surfaces facing each other, and very little on the “outside” bearing surfaces facing away from each other.

I am now pretty curious as to how the right side bogie pins will look like.
