Giday,

The self built jack stands out of 2x4 or 2x6's.
Does anybody have a sketch?
IICC I saw one some time ago.
How may layers high?

Look at all the pictures and read all of the descriptions. They provide complete step by step instructions with an explanation of the reasons for the design and comments on possible modifications. 2X4's are more than adequate. If you are using them on earth rather than a hard or semi-hard surface you may want to use 4 2X4's for the bottom layer or use 2X6's for the bottom layer.

After you look over the photos and still have a question, ask away. I also have an excel spreadsheet showing cut layout for 8 or 7' 2X4's if you want, but the photos show and explain how to do the cut layout.
