Hi Ray,

Before you go to the trouble to drop the tanks, check to see if you are leaking gas around the filler tube. That tube goes inside the coach behind the DS side panel then out the bottom just in front of the step, then down to the tube that connects both tanks. That filler tube originally had a gasket around where it enters the inside of the coach but that may be long gone. If you belch gas when filling it all the way, if even a little gas leaks down that tube past the gasket it will smell to high heaven inside your coach for a while. I finally solved that issue on mine by using RTV to form a new gasket around the filler tube.

Good Morning

Just got back from north of Toronto, had a great trip and put on about 1,600
miles. Coach ran like a top ! Saw 2 other GMC's along the way, a Green Palm
Beach at the border coming back into the U.S. at Port Huron and a Cream & Blue
one on I94.

3 small problems....
1. Bad gas smell in the coach when I filled the tanks completely full (I had
posted this earlier), when I only put in 20 gallons at a time, no smell. I will
drop the rear tank to see what's going on. Will drop both tanks if necessary.
Just dropped the tanks last August to check how clean they were, etc. and didn't
have any problems last fall. Kind of a pain to drop the tanks again, but oh well
