Hi,

Most GMC Owners have named there Motorhomes .

Is there a list of Names.?

Is it considered ok ,to use a Name being used by someone else .

Maybe by following with a ll - lll.

Not sure if I've ever seen a list, but I find the names fun and entertaining !

Ours is the "Great Lakes Eagle"......however, I should have named it "Rays 2nd
Job" !

There are lots of lists on the Internet for baby names but not motorhome names. I just call mine the GMC.

I don't see any problem using a name someone else has. How many Bobs or Jims are there?

I know a lot of GMCERS that call theirs "the Bus".

I'd chime in to say any old name is fine. :)

You could even name it after something that it does or resembles,
'troublemaker and money-pit' come to mind. Or second-wife lol

Sammy

Or go "Indian" by name convention by driving somewhere, stop, close
eyes turn around one full circle or so, then open your eyes. first
thing you see (or something is doing something that you describe) is
name of coach. :)

whispering winds, babbling brook, etc come to mind.

I agree with Emery, doesn't matter to me if people use duplicate names.

Although we have a "formal" name, we also refer to ours as THE BUS. Unless
I'm having frustrating problems and then I have a whole array of "other" names
for it !!! <grinning>

Formerly owned "White Trash" although now it is in Canada.

My favorite is on the Bluebird Wanderlodge site - "Squanderlodge".

I think most folks have two names for their GMC. The first they use when they are cruising down the highway enjoying a great trip. The other one is used when they are on the side of the road with the hatch up.

We just call ours "the Motorhome". The wife had a more colorful name for it when we first got it and it had a bunch of nickel and dime issues. You don't adjust your thinking on calling $200.00 - $500.00 dollar things "nickel and dime" until you've had it for a while.
