I have a set of Patterson gaskets with the blank off plates going into my coach. One thing I noticed is that the plates have some curling at the edges from the die. Has anyone sanded these smooth, or should I just install them and hope the manifold flattens them?

Manifold R&R is a total pain in the ass, and I don't want to do it a THIRD time due to a problem with sealing. My Mr Gasket set was fine at the heads, The stupid rubber valley wall seal at the rear of the block is what leaked due to splitting. I will be using RTV this time.
