To All
I STOPPED BY Harbor Freight this weekend. I was really looking for a dirty water pump ,
I really was looking for a pump without the Motor.
They had a 1 HP dirty water pump with Motor on sale for $59.00 was $79.00
I need one for my fish pond. It accumulates mud and debris on the bottom.
I have tried regular pumps ,but they get stopped up.
I went to the counter ,she said do you want a warranty on it ,I usually say no, but I said how much does it cost for two years ?.
She said ,if you get the warranty, I can beat the sales price .I said ok let’s go that way ,she charged me $47.00 for the pump and $10.00 for the warranty ,total price was cheaper than the sales price.
Man, we learn something everyday.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,later,,,,,Paul

I purchased a HF shallow well pump 2 years ago on sale like you i also purchased the warranty. I have burnt out 2 pumps since the original from continuous use. I take it back and they make it good every time. No matter how much you abuse them the warranty is the best. when this warranty runs out i will purchase another pump and warranty.

G'day,
I don't know if this is correct or not but I purchased something at the Harbor Freight store near JimB's shop on one of my holidays
there. It broke and I took it back. The store manager had to approve the return and for some reason she noted that the warranty
period started again on the replacement parts. I asked her if I buy something with year warranty and it breaks within 365 days after
the date I bought it the replacement has a warranty of 365 days. The answer was yes.
When I worked for Hamilton Standard if a part failed within the warranty period the replacement part carried the original parts
warranty it did not start over. That's the way I thought all warranties worked.
Comments please.
Regards,
Rob M.
