I think there is there more info on removing the cockpit side panels, but
it is evading me.
I didn't see any screws along the top of the side panel, maybe they are
evading me also.
Screws at the floor might be under the carpet, but I haven't removed the
Atlases and guide books from that area, yet.
I need to seal the space beetween the floor and walls to keep the wind
and water out of our part of the coach.
This was mined from the forum:
"Mine do have a ledge that sits against the floor, and are screwed into
the wooden floorboards. There are also screws along the top of the side
panel, and there is a screw that attaches the side panel to the dash
panel (barely accessable from under the dash.
There were also some screws that attached the back edge of the side panel
that showed up when the side panel was removed. Of course, there has been
a lot of modification over the years, so you can't be absolutely sure of
what you'll find."
Thanks, RonC

It's been a long time for me too, and since I scrapped all that stuff, I
can't look at anything. But I do remember that the most difficult part of
removing side panels was finding and removing the screw(s) holding the
vertical flange to the dash. They're inserted horizontally from the
forward (inside dash) side. IIRC, I had to remove the glove compartment
and reach my LONG arm around to them. If I'd been Rubber Man it would have
been a lot easier. Besides those, there are vertical screws through a
flange at the bottom and horizontal screws in the vertical flange at the
rear of the panel -- the wall panel which slides into a groove in the side
panel must be removed to reveal those screws. Across the top there are no
screws -- the side panel has a lip which sits in a channel beneath the side
window.
At least that's how I remember it. What day did you say this is?

Guys, it is exactly as Ken said although I had two screws on the top forward part of the panel. I just removed mine for restoration of the cockpit as well. Just about finished and will post some pics soon.
Most difficult was the fact that I had to remove the side panels next to the dinette and couch as they are interlocked. So before I reinstalled the cockpit side panels I modified them so they can be removed without having to remove the side panels next the couch and dinette.

Ron,
Based on my panels, 2 screws on top forward of the windshield post, 2 screws below securing the side panel to the dash (left side are hard to get to, right side reach through glove box opening, some are cracked loose and or rusted), 2 screws in the rear under the wall panels, and 4 at the floor under carpet.
The left side has the air duct that you need to loosen the clamp.
Your model doesn't have this duct. The panels need to slide back to clear the dash inset, parking lever. Taking the seats out makes the work easier.
If you have chipmunk cheeks (front skin panels bulging out), you may be able to draw in with fasteners under the belt line molding to the inside alum frame structure. Some one else can chime in on this.
Check your side windows for leaks at the windshield post.
I found many air leaks in the cockpit and step areas. They all add up to one well ventilated coach.
My few cents of info.
