Hey All;

I have one of the grandfathered unlimited data AT&T plans on my
iPhone and my wife has a 2Gb limit on hers. We've been in Moab for 2
weeks doing some dune buggying with buggy friends and I've been
uploading videos everyday. I have the MyWi app on both of our phones.
When my wife's iPhone reached 1.5Gb usage, we got the dreaded 10$/Gb
for over 2Gb message. I then started using my iPhone. I now have 3.5Gb
of usage. I just received the "going to cut you to modem speeds if you
go over 3Gb on any of your next billing cycles) message. Have we
figured a way around this yet? I guess it must say somewhere in my
plan that they can do this, but can they really?

Gary

Guess you should hire a lawyer and fight it. Let us know how you do.

I am cut to dial up like speeds after 2.6G of usage till the 3rd of the month with my now worthless PC for iPhone unlimited plan. Using old win mob phone for tether. Contract up, Sprint looking good unless "Keep the Account with ATT" department doesn't come up with something fancy offer wise.

They want you to commit to 5G plan but offer you personal wifi hot spot w. iPhone 4's but with still a 5G cumulative WiFi/phone usage. Errrrgggghhh!
