G'day,

While I was back in the USA I stumbled on to a sale of the BBQ below at Amazon, I paid $185 for it.

I got a flyer from Adventure RV this past Wednesday noting they have it on sale for $169.99.

Here's a link: http://tinyurl.com/8y7xak8

http://www.adventurerv.net/camco-olympian-5500-stainless-steel-barbeque-tailgating-grill-p-13647.html?utm_source=AdventureRV&utm_med
ium=email&utm_campaign=May_16_2012Sale

I read the reviews on this item and they were mixed so I only ordered one from Amazon. When it arrived I looked it over carefully
and despite being made in China it looks pretty good. The only down side I saw was that the grill that the meat sits on is NOT
stainless steel it is chromed steel. After a number of heating and cooling cycles I believe the chrome will crack and it will rust.
What the hell we can all use a bit more iron in our systems! ;-)

I also bought the bag and mounting rail.

Regards,
Rob M.

I first wondered "where in the heck does he store all that stuff?" Then I
realized that it would be a trivial matter for someone who can haul an
aluminum radiator, spare hub & knuckle and a Cad500 on an airliner to
Australia in carry-on baggage.

Ken,

The best one was when I brought one of Frank Jenkins two piece sun visors back as luggage. I laid one half on top of the other. When
United Airlines asked me what it was I told them "a giant boomerang." ;-)

The Cad 500 went by sea, the funny bit was it only cost me 50% more to get it from Long Beach to Sydney than it cost me to get it
from Houston to Long Beach!

Regards,
Rob M.
