Hi ~ New to posting to the forum and the world of GMC RVs. Been reading the digest and thought it is about time to ask a question. Our 77 Kingsley's water heater pressure relief valve is Kaput. Went to by a new one and they are all rated at 150 psi. Trouble is the one I removed is rated at 125 psi. It does not look original so I am wondering if the PO replaced it with an odd ball valve. Will the 150 psi valve pose any danger for damaging the heater system. Don't want to do the penny in the fuse box thing here !

Yes, I think that they are all rated at 150 psi. Go ahead and use it. I think that you plastic piping going to the bathroom hot water faucet will blow before you reach 150 psi anyway. At least it did to me once when the thermostat failed to shut off.
