With the research and testing complete on the Kelsey Hayes park brake caliper and the 6 prototype units installed it became somewhat apparent that a better and more detailed installation manual was required. Said manual has been completed in draft form and is being shipped out with the production K-H units.
I had bdub post the first two pages of the manual on our website at the bottom of the page. http://www.bdub.net/branscombe/K-H%20Promo.pdf . During some of the installations it was found that the installer had to suspend the installation and address items related to missing brackets, seized handle cables, leaky master cylinders, broken booster brackets, defective or the wrong type of combination valve. In one instance , this cost a customer a 300 mile return trip and a loss of 3 days whilst new equipment was ordered and shipped. Although not a fault of mine, I feel somewhat responsible for not providing enough data.
The new 20 page manual has lots of photos and diagrams and probably can be made more concise is time goes on. Being a 20Mb doc. it must be broken into three parts to be emailed . Any questions give me a shout.
Cheers......Albert Branscombe
