Les,

When I first installed the Cad 500, the fan would touch the shroud during
hard acceleration. I had to reposition the shroud slightly to provide
slightly more space on one side. I don't remember how much clearance that
was. I can check when I re-install the engine. I never had that problem
with the 455, which used the SAME motor mount.
