Not sure what is going on in the above post, but meanwhile back on the thread, I have some pictures of this Royale if anyone is interested. I know how to post pictures in my photo site. I just don't know how to post in someone else's. Thanks

After you have posted them on your site you just copy and paste the link in your next message to the GMC net.

It sill look some thing like this:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g6068-stick-s-pictures.html

Then anyone who wants to can click on the posted link and look at your pictures.

Also, in answer to some condition problems, I received the following:
1. 403 was replaced w/455
2. trans was rebuilt @ 62k
3. has Caspro power drive
4. no macerator
5.both roof airs work
6. dash air doesn't work
7. no plumbing problems
8.water heater replaced before I bought it
9. motorhome was garaged for 18 yrs when I bought it No rust problems at all
10, Tires were put on about 1 1/2 yrs ago
11. front end rebuilt @73k
12. air bags are OK ,have 2 useable ones also
13.one of compressors went out on last trip a year ago
14. drives ok to me had front alignment 2 yrs ago
15. no leaks that I know about but doesn't rain much here
16. eating area seats need recovering
Its not perfect by any means, but if its not worth $6500 I'll just park it .

I don't blame him. Sounds and looks like a good buy.

Stick,

IMHO this GMC (or a '23 foot Birchaven) is the simple answer to your bed
problem you sleep on the bed on the passenger side with your feet off the
end of the bed into the entry door area.

Rob M.

I think you may be right. That way if anyone breaks into the coach while I'm asleep, my feet will slow him down.

I really wouldn't mind a 23'. The wife and I both agree that storage is not important for us.

I just don't need a project. (That may well be oxymoronic - a GMC that is not a project.)

Stick,

I reckon you might be able to pickup a really nice Birchaven with LOTS of
custom mods locally if the owner doesn't solve an engine problem he's been
having!

That is if he doesn't TORCH out of frustration first! ;-)

A GMC that's NOT a project?

C'mon you've been hanging around here long enough to know THAT AIN'T
HAPPENIN'! ;>)

Regards,
Rob M.

Meanwhile back on the topic...

I think this could be a decent buy for someone. Probably too much of a project for me.
