Take a look in this month's FMCA mag. They have a nice write up on the 87th Family Reunion in Indianapolis. Should you be located anywhere within a few hundred miles you will not regret attending this convention. FMCA has lots to do and lots to see. Teri and I attended our first one last August in Madison, Wi. We had an absolutly great time. We were provided parking with our GMC friends. We stayed busy everyday seeing the sites and attending the FMCA functions. Lots of motorhome vendors with parts that we also use. We are hoping to get a list of those interested in attending so we can park together, if you want. It could be warm so make sure your generator is working if you want air conditioning. We actually don't expect to be in our coach during the days so won't be running our's much. They do have electricity available but one will be sandwiched in among the 40 footers for that. Hope to see lots of our friends there.
Dan and Teri

Hi Dan & Teri,

Barbara & I are planning to attend....we're only 70 miles from Indy. It
would be great if we could have electric & still be together as a group. It
can be extremely hot & humid that time of year.

We plan to be there as well. We are also in favor of going for an area with electric for the night time aircon. Agreed central Indiana can be pretty brutal in late summer. And with this year being so weird already, who knows what the summer is going to have for us.

The early bird registration is $160.
The charge for electricity is an additional $180. Is it worth $60 per night to you for electricity?

I' like to take an opportunity to add to Dan's post regarding the FMCA rally in late August of additional items of interest.

The NHRA U.S. Nationals in Clermont IN just west of Indianapolis runs from Aug 31st thru Sept 5th.

And a few hours drive north up Interstate 69 is the Auburn Cord Duesenberg festival in Auburn IN that runs from Aug 30th thru Sept 2nd.

more to come

Thanks Larry. Maybe we could have an informal Eastern States gathering. I don't mean a real rally because I am not interested in doing any work or asking others to do it. We all do enough of that at GMCMI. FMCA is for our "enjoyment", at least for Teri and me. We love taking in all that FMCA has to offer and doing it at our own pace.

GMC forum users,

If planning to attend the FMCA rally ( or if
your are rolling through Indianapolis ),
the Indianapolis Childrens Museum is now having
a Hot Wheels - Get Real exhibit.
