Interesting concept for a thermostat. I don't know if it would work with our "underhood" configuration.

I think I'll just continue to feel the rad hose to see if the thermo is working.

Would a second temp guage in a different location would be a quicker cheaper way of assessing the thermostat?

How about a remote TV camera so you can watch it while going down the road. That way Dan would not have to look down though his clear hatch cover to see what it is doing.
