They are readliy available under several different part numbers based more on differences in packaging. I don't have the number here, but did you check Gene Fisher's site or do a search--it comes up regularly so you should be able to find a thread.

I always wondered about that. I suppose everything is flat enough that there may quite a bit of fuel in the line, but it sounds like there may be easier candidates to steal from.

Around here, they just knock a hole in your tank and try to catch it in a bucket.

As Gomer Pyle would have said, "S'prize, s'prize!"
However, with noticably different tank materials,
I suspect that it is unlikely.

When my GMC is parked it is with the bags deflated and resting on 4" blocks.
That thang is lower-n a snakes belly.
I'd like to see them get at the tanks...
and I have 4 tanks to choose from, 50 50 chance of getting gas, and considering the gas tanks are in the middle of the coach, I'm not too concerned.

I have a lock on the door rather than a locking cap. It is easy to install. All you heed is a drill and a Dremmel tool.

If they are stealing by knocking a hole in the side must be catching it in a dishpan, sometimes on mine that would be a cookie sheet, depends on if I remember to close the valves at the airbags. Just wanted the locking cap while it was in the yard to keep unwanted elements out of the tank.

Bob Burkitt also has one on his coach. Just drill a hole, mount the lock, Cut a slot in the plastic for the lock arm to slide in to and you are done. It is a simple 1/2 hour project.
Here is the type of lock we are talking about. Mine has a nut on the back side mounting it to the door rather than the flat metal clip in the picture.

Rather than a locking gas cap, why nat make a couple of labels-
"UNLEADED FUEL ONLY" - put it on the water tank (only becasue there is no easy filler for the black tank.
And a second one, "POTABLE WATER" and put it on the Fuel tank.
THat should protect your fuel and/or provide a good laugh.
