Good Morning

We have a set of the off-white front window curtains that wrap around the side
and front windows on the ceiling track that are in excellent condition.

For Sale, $75 plus shipping. Thought I would put them on here before going to
Ebay.

Let me know if you're interested !

Ray,
Where were you when I need you?
You're one week too late. I just had new ones made; not installed yet.

To others; $75.00 is a bargain if white is ok for you.

I am very interested if you choose me, because the top of my curtains have little plastic headers on them that slide in

the slot rail that goes looping around to the center of the windshield. The sun has weakened the plastic and they have

broken off with the head still in the slot slider and the steam to the head that fits in the slider is still attached to the

curtains leaving them useless. Only a very few are still working and they are just barely hanging on now. They should

have been metal. I just talked with ray and he has a different attachment method so i may not be that interested in changing

the whole holding rod like attachment system that is a slot slider method. We shall see he is sending me a picture, if anyone else is interested please

go ahead of me, for it may not be my cup of tea here. thank you mickey :.> [)

Mickey,

Go to an RV supply house and you will probably find the "little plastic
headers."

Ray, I think someone said that these curtains did not use the original sewn in tabs and track but something else? You were going to send a photo of the track? Would you please post it on the photo site? We have some nice home-made curtains but would like to change the track and tabs to something more reliable - tabs keep breaking and being replaced but keep on breaking even with careful treatment. The curtain maintenance department is getting irritated.

Mickey,
From an RV catalog those are called SEW-IN CARRIERS 14 ea at $3.69.
From Recmar they call them Tail Slides #3040 and a 50 piece bag cost $6.39

I am one for not sewing these on, I was thinking about using two carries
per position, one on each side of cloth and attaching them with a 4-40
screw and nut. The carriers would have to form an x so not to interfere
with each other in the track. Not to sure it will work, but who knows.

Has anyone else tried a different approach? I had also thought of using
rivets but I like the idea od the 4-40 better.
