Some time ago, I think it was you that was going to use POR15 to seal the rust on the clip, or somewhere on the GMC frame...

I have used POR15, and I know how good the stuff is, I also know how it likes to film over when it is stored in the can.

You had talked about a couple of different ways to try to prevent the filming action that occurs when the POR15 is introduced with moisture....IF it gets enough it will harden the entire can...

One method I tried was to use a plastic bag over the open can, then seal the can with the can lid. I then turned over the can upside down, and placed it inside another bag, JUST IN CASE of a leak... as we all know, when this stuff sets up, it isn't coming off. The reason I turned it over was if the POR15 was going to film over, it would film over on the side that I don't care about.

Result, not much to report, I used it the next day with little filming occurring...

POR15 --- don't get it on your fingers --- Laughing
