Silva!!

Well, it was pretty good, I'll have to admit.
Congratulations, you got at least 6 of us to respond.

Well, I have to say, I agree with Scott's concept that Revcons are better than GMCs. They were the INSPIRATION for GMC motorhomes and will always be the 1st edition(there can only be ONE #1... sorry) Design differences can be discussed ad infinitum, but Revcons last longer than GMCs...sorry but true!

Now, that is some opinion to express here. Oh well, hang around and we will educate you.

Thom,

Re: "Revcons last longer than GMCs"

There were just over 12,000 GMC's built of which The GMC Registry has over
8000 listed.

Please advise:

1) how many Revcons were built?
2) how many still exist?

Re: "They were the INSPIRATION for GMC motorhomes"

Last time I lifted the engine hatch of my GMC I spotted a drive train out of
a GMC Oldsmobile Toronado.

You reckon that might have INSPIRED Revcon to build them in the first place?

Thom,

You are on your own.

My comments were just good clean fun. To actually have a debate with these guys over the merits of a particular coach is a fools errand.

I am but a spectator, good luck

Where you been Dave? I saw you had logged yourself in at Los Angeles on the Prankster thread. Have you moved?
Hope all is well. Glad you haven't lost your sense of humor.

I am still in the same place. I've shifted priorities for a while but I'll soon be back in the Revcon, making mistakes and coming here for answers (answers from Rob may require additional verification)

Oh yea, you might want to be super nice to Rob. Very Happy
We have had several here who converted from Revcons to GMCs. Parts can be had for GMCs, new parts.

It was probably brought to us by the same people that designed the X15 KUBE.

Dave,

And once it was pointed out that I had a hook in my mouth I thought it was a
good April Fools Joke!

Downunder we call what you did "having someone on." It's an Aussie sport; we
do it all the time.

You're correct! Thom might as well head over to a Ford forum and tell them
how great his Chevy is.

Rob, those sorry Ford guys already know that. As far as the Revcons go, it certainly isn't my right to welcome them, but I do find them interesting and attractive in their own way. I think the initial bantering will settle down. In fact some of the old crows on this site are more....oh never mind.
