Hi all knowing GMCers.

I am putting a dinette back into my Royale. It used to have 2 chairs.

I found a flex steel dinette set I'm rebuilding but it didn't come with a table.

Can someone measure the table width and length?

Thanks!

H have what I think is the original 62 pound LP tank.

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=43574&title=dsc01634&cat=3798

This is the regulator and when I open the valve, propane leaks. Please look at the picture. In the left quadrant there is a little hole, (that looks like a black spot). The hole looks like it belongs there but the propane leaks out of it so I think there is something wrong with the regulator. It leaks out enough so you can hear a hiss. Is there a new regulator available that I could replace the old one with?

Thanks,

Bob, that regulator looks pretty tired and I suspect either the diaphragm is broken or it is stuck. These are standard and very inexpensive. I would go to camping world or any RV store or on line--they are generic and not worth fooling with.

Bob,

That is the same tank I have. I'll check for the hole tomorrow. I have a
different problem, all then gauges read full even when it is empty.

Cheers,

When I took my coach to the nearby propane company for its
first fill under my watch, they checked for leaks and said
it was something like 19.3 gallons. I'm not sure how that
translates into "pounds." They put in 10 gallons at $2.20
per gallon plus sales tax (no road tax) of $1.85.

I see the three holes in the floor that are there
to let any leaked propane out of the compartment.
Propane vapors are heavier than air and will sink
to the ground and dissipate in the air in the event
of any leak from the tank and associated items.

Am I missing something???

I don't know what you are missing but my concern is that the regulator is leaking and I don't think it should.

Both picture URLs ended with the same number and I
only looked at the first one. I didn't realize
that you were talking about the regulator itself
(second URL).

Keith,

The center section is 15-5/8" wide by 38" long (wall to eisle)plus mounting rail and a 3/4" by 2-1/2" on the wall, and the folding wings (2) are 7" wide by 36-1/4".

Plywood is lighter the sawdust-board.

To the readers of this thread.

Dinette Table Dimensions?
Original LP Tank

We're getting a real good deal, a 2 for 1. Now, if we can only keep topics straight in our mind, and archive.

Propane regulators are readily available at any RV parts store and are not very expensive. There are single stage and double stage regulators. The double stage are more accurate and not much more in cost. They all have the same fittings. Since yours is probably now over 35 years old why not just buy a new one and replace it and you won't have to worry about it leaking.

The double stage are more accurate and not much more in cost. They all have the same fittings. Since yours is probably now over 35 years old why not just buy a new one and replace it and you won't have to worry about it leaking.
