Well, I need to see if Gene will warranty that old battery that came with the vdub 4 years ago. It bit the dust. Will push it after the ice cream social and head to Walmart for a new one.

Just to show I am a "stand-up-guy" , you bring that battery back to
Florence, Orgn, and I will give you another old battery..
good huh???
My story is: COMPLETE BATTERY FAILURE -
went to fire up the 26, going to another funeral, one per month so far;>(
and the battery was dead
WHAT, NOT ME, THE BATTERY GUY !!!
get my digital vom to test the voltage, ( dvm battery dead)
go get another DVM, (the battery is dead)
get the analog Simpson,(LOVE THAT ANALOG) and the voltage looks good, but
will not crank
combiner working - but - the smart charger is gone.
house batteries also down, ( arggggg)
charge the starter battery all night - it will not take a charge -
went to Walmart ( they do not have these in Florence)
did not have the replacement battery so got another one and new cables
will try to get out of town tomorrow, wish me luck

me too. Everything fine on drive to Shawnee. returning to coach after opening, house batteries dead. PD9260 smart charger dead!!! what's the deal

PD does have parts available and a reasonable price for repaired.

Thanks for the offer Gene. I knew you would offer. Ken B and I pushed it, ran to Walmart after the ice cream social, and picked up a new one. This one has been dying for some time. Runs great off the alternator but sure wont start with no battery.
