My cut and paste is broken. I have a few photos up on the photosite. Maybe someone can place a link for me.
Teri and I are in Space 120. If you need to look at the soft white leds, hollar at me and come by to see how they look after dark. You will be pleased and they are warranted for life.
Will leave the light on for you.

I am having a heck of a time getting pictures posted. For some reason my laptop can no longer sign into the net here or the photosight. It uses windows xp and has my resizer. No clue what happened to it. I have another one but it uses Windows 7. I can not find a resizer for windows 7 that will work. So, I have to resize the pictures on the one with xp, pull the card and load into this one and upload the things. That is why it has taken me so long to update today. No more shooting and uploading unless I can figure out what happened.
Anyway, Ice Cream is very good. Wish yall were here. Lots of nice looking coaches that I have not seen before too. We have folks from both coasts, Canada, and Australia,

PS Carl, I may have just sold all of what you are looking for in lights. But, I can get them for you.

On Windows7, you can resize photos using the "Paint" program included with it.

Dan,
Please keep up the good work providing us with convention photos. Not as good as being there but it does help keep away the "Damn I'm sorry I'm missing the GMCMI rally blues".

Arent computers fun???

I have only recently just found one of the problems that has been causing my computer to fail... I fixed it and its gone.

Lately, there have been some horrendous bugs that integrate in some of the programs... one result will be non access to where you have been before, been there, done that..... Dirty Virus's...

One thing I have done, I have a program that I had to create, you may be interested in it if you have XP, that has a backup prog on it. when Things start to go south and you know the computer is not acting right, Restore it. It helps if the computer has been set up from a fresh op system.

I have'nt tried Win 7 after I was told it was not real friendly to older programs.... XP does fine for me right now.

Hope Ken B can help you

Good luck.

I have used the Restore function several times on with Microsoft Vista. It does help Smile

Yes, the RESTORE option was a good idea, when I ran Mellenium by Mycro Sloth, it saved me quite a few times.

But I learned that if you can't go back to the original "FRESH" RESTORE point, then you are slowly getting bad restores as the op system does slowly begin to have problems on its own, not to mention the WEB bugs that come in droves, and the RESTORES are made over time when you make changes to the system, so any degregation of the system or web attacks get saved too.

And I am not sure of the exact time span but RESTORE will only go back 3 or 4 months I think and anything store previous to that is deleted. So your virgin RESTORE save from the beginning is gone.

I don't know if you can find the RESTORE file and save it or not or if you can even manipulate it at all to get a new restore.

I do four things that seem to help.

FIRST
Check your performance at IDLE.
Press Ctrl - Alt - Delete and the WINDOWS TASK MANAGER appears.
Press PERFORMANCE and let the computer go idle with ONLY THAT WINDOW OPEN.
The computer SHOULD run at 0% with very occasional 3-4% jumps.
If you are running 50 to 80%, something is running your computer. Check your process ( press PROCESSES ) and see whats running. It may be a tool bar that you can delete to get back to normal idle. This random excessive run will kill your computer.

SECOND
I have BACKED UP the freshly installed Win XP OpSYS, with programs installed. Before I found the perfomance problem, this BACK UP came in very handy and saved a ton of work.

THIRD
I installed a program called DEEP FREEZE. This program prevents changes to the hard disk and the WINDOWS directory. It creates a virtual disk and you run off a copy of the C'drive, not the C: drive itself. When you shut down, all changes, including web bugs, file saves, any changes to system, are gone. You come back with the same settings you had before DEEP FREEZE was installed.

FOURTH
DEEP FREEZE is great for blocking changes and any web attacks but it is limited in protecting HI MEMORY.
I installed MicroSoft Security Essentials to help block what DF cant stop.

We go through a lot of effort to keep these things running.
I do have a copy of Ubuntu that seems immune ( so far ) to the ravages of the internet and I like the program but I can to a lot more with MS because I haven't figured out the features on Ubuntu yet, so I tend to use the MS XP.

I'm not a Techie but I have learned over a somewhat long time period how to keep the computer running, not that MS has been overly helpful with their buggy programs, can you say SERVICE PACK?

Just what I have learned, always open for suggestions, thanks to all.
