I know there was some discussion on these a few weeks back.
Has anybody taken the plunge with one? Going to Shawnee?
Show and tell there? Seems like a great idea.

Currently at: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/200479231916)

I don't know yet if my water heater works or if the propane
system itself is even functional!

Mac,

This looks like, and probably is the same as, the unit several of us have installed but under another name. It will fit nicely behind the refrigerator.

Several pix at: http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showgallery.php?cat=5994

Installed a EZ101 behind the frig. Didn't fit "perfect" but just shimmed the frig out a few inches to make her fit.

I happened to get one that is portable, for camping. It came with a nice shower wand which we are using instead of the GMC original.

Watch dimensions of the unit. Mine fit behind the Norcold and when we got a Dometic it still fit. Leon of RV refrigerator fame did put a baffel in when he installed the new frig.

The water sometimes pulses hotter-cooler and I put one of the mixer valves in. Wifie loves that.

I got something like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EZ-101-Portable-Tankless-Water-Heater-LPG-Propane-RV-Camp-Site-/290670275189?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43ad4c6a75

I reversed the vent shield to make the little heat there is flow away from the curve of the outer wall.

This is a very interesting water heated air heater that could be used with the instant water heater below or a wood stove
and solar pump to pump water from the pod area through it. Mick anaheim ca. 77 palm playa

what do you know i remembered to put the link in for a change after writing about it.

I have a Aquah 6 in my GMC as a 2nd water heater. It fits behind the reefer. I'm going on 3 years now with this setup. I love being able to use the original electric heater if I'm going to be hooked up to shore power or the LP gas fired heater if I am not and am dry camping. I did a seminar on my tankless setup at a GMCMI convention in 2011.

Here's my version of tankless water heaters for GMCs at my way out of date website:

http://www.palmbeachgmc.com/tankless_water_heater.pdf

There is probably a lot more than you want to know about water heaters in that file.

One of these days I am going to fix my website.
