> Does anyone know if you can get the window rubbers for the toll windows. I have the u shaped rubber with the felt that the sliding window fits into. I need the rubber that fits around the non movable glass pieces. I did call a GMC supplier who said they were not available, but maybe someone knows something that works for this task. After some 30 years, the old rubber is becoming brittle, and not as effective as it once was ....

I used 5/64" glass setting tape:

Kind of a pain to do. An extra set of hands and some soapy water helped.
I recall using black rtv in the channels first for insurance, then folding the
tape around the glass and pushing it into the channels, but it's been a while.
Think I also experimented with folding the tape into the channels and then pushing
in the glass. The tape isn't sticky, but is kinda fold-able. Get extra so you can
experiment on the best method. Trim off the excess once the window is back together.

I used this stuff for all the fixed glass panels in our '73 coach as well as the fixed
parts of the cockpit side windows. The rear windows in the '73/74 coaches are different
than later years, so this tape doesn't apply to later style windows.

The 100' roll was more than enough for all, but you will only need a little for just the
front windows. You may be able to buy a smaller amount from a local auto glass company.

hope this helps,
Karen
