Help! Has anyone retired a 1977 Duo-Therm furnace.
After pulling it out and checking everything in the back,
I discovered that the solenoid on the gas control valve
has died. It's an Essex model #7724.
I just need the solenoid, easy removal if you have one.

Gary,
I went to a local RV dealer and talked to mechanics in the shop. One of them had swapped out a lot of furnaces, and had stripped the furnaces of good parts before throwing out what's left. He had what I needed...maybe your local RV mechanic might be doing the same???

Thanks, Larry. I called the people in Columbus who have all the
junk around. Couldn't help.
