Dan,

Here is something you might try.

Last spring our new Rostra cruise control quit working shortly after I had it installed. I went and checked all the common stuff like loose connections, brake pedal adjustment etc. I could not get it to work. I called Duane Simmons and he told me some alternators create electrical interference with the cruise control. He told me to add a 6 AWG wire between the alternator and the engine cover frame. I did and the cruise control has worked fine ever since. Duane also told me that thinks my alternator maybe on it way out.
