One of my kids Olds Cutlass wagons has an intermitant problem. Poor throttle response and poor fuel economy. Like 1/2. Wife had a 90 and we got 25-26 mpg's. One tank was 13 and most have been 18-20. Have a manual and have done most of what was recomended. Now I'm looking for a scanner. Tech ones and twos can not just look at and erase codes but can read in real time all the sensors. FI duty time,,,etc. They also can turn things on and off. EGR,evap purg, cooling fans, etc. I'd like to have the capabilty of the Tech one and two with out the price. Their are some scanners (code readers) that are in the 3 to 4 hundred range that can look at the sensors in real time,,,,,but iI don't know about the on/off funtions. Any one have one they like????? thanks,,,PL

Also,,,,Ken,,, got that Caddy back together and do you still have the preoiler.??? I can make or loan you mine if you loaned yours out,,,,,PL
