This probably has been said here before, but for the benefit of those who haven't heard it......
The GMC Maintenance Manual directs us to disconnect ball joints and more to remove the LF axle. You do not need to do that. I did disconnect one end of the front-to-side suspension bar, loosen the other and swing the bar out of the way. I also removed the shock absorber and jacked up the LF suspension. Remove the top shock bolt first, then you can slide the shock off the bottom shock stud.

Of course, the coach was jacked up to allow access to the inner CV bolts and I used jack stands for safety as well. Be advised that the axle is heavy. It takes some trial and error to finagle the axle out of the suspension. That is why jacking the suspension(easy with the shock removed) helps to pull the axle out.

After the axle is ready to be reinstalled, reverse the procedure with more finagling to get the axle in the suspension. Push the axle in to raise the inner end and install a bolt fron the top. I was able to stand in the wheel well to reach the top bolt, turn the axle install another bolt, etc. Torque the inner axle bolts to 65 ft lbs, and the outer axle nut to 110 ft lbs.
The book stresses to use NEW bolts. I did not.....Michael Bozardt at GEMRECS
