I saw a couple of folks had quick release steering wheel adaptors at Elkhart.

What brands of adaptors work for this?

The Momo adaptors we use on the race car won't work with the GM steering column.

Dolph,

Here's what I've used for 10 years or so:

http://www.summitracing.com/search/Brand/Grant-Products/Product-Line/Grant-Anti-Theft-Systems/?autoview=SKU
or

You'll also need one of their adapters for the GM column splines.

Since the removable portion has a bolt pattern to fit the Grant steering
wheels, you must use one of those, or do as I did: Devise an adapter.

IIRC, the Grant pattern is 3 bolts 120* apart on a circle. The S-10
(better yet, S-15) steering wheel I wanted to use has a single flat spoke
spanning the diameter of the wheel, with 6 screws 60* apart on a circle
slightly different than Grants. So I cut an appropriate disc of 1/4" thick
aluminum, then drilled and tapped it to fit the wheel and the adapter. I
had to remove material from the middle to allow access to the wheel's horn
button connection. It's worked perfectly for all these years.

NOTE: The device will not work with a telescoping column because of
interference with the added mechanism.

Thanks, Ken

If you get a chance, I would love to know the diameter of the S-15 wheel.

I don't have a wheel that I'm "wedded" to, Grant has some very affordable wheels.

15-3/4" OD. Mine's just like the one in my '91 S-10. The single flat
spoke also offers a nice mount for the key-chain remote I use to control
the cruise control.

The problem I had when looking at the Grant wheels was that they all had
more dish than I wanted.
