I am in the process of working up a camera here on the farm that I can
monitor while out on a camping trip in my GMC. Figuring out how to
hook up a digital camera to my computer has been a real pain. Thats
where this web page came in. Hope it helps you
too.......................Terry

A fairly decent write up! I have long been a believer in HDMI.

Just a thought, with Cat 5e and Cat 6 cable priced so low, you might want to
add a little about them to the Ethernet Cable listing as sometimes the way
the male connectors are attached to Cat 6, makes them unusable for
connecting with some RJ45 female ports, where as they might work fine with
others.

One of the low cost supplies I like it MonoPrice.

Super fast delivery and excellent prices.

Anyone have others they like?

Parts Express (http://www.parts-express.com) is pretty good.
They probably have a wider range of "raw" bits for the DIY
guy. I like Monoprice because they're basically right around
the corner a few miles. Downside is that I have to pay sales
tax, and that makes the cost about even.

For the DIY guy who needs custom cables and can't or prefers
not to, Markertek (http://www.markertek.com) will make just
about any kind of cable you want to your specs. And they are
competitive pricewise on that. I've done a lot of business
with them over the years, and not been disappointed.

Tiger Direct ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/ ) often has great deals, but you
have to know what it is that you need.
