Just north of LA.
ebay item: 140693837842
Like most of these sitting out in fields, transporting might be a problem. Has a screen door (Birch?) and an awning. Not much else, but IF the reserve is low and you can find a deal on transportation...

And hubcaps. :-)
Looking at the location, I suspect he won't even be willing to pay to have
it towed away.

I know this area mice have eaten the insides out all the wires are gone and propane wires spark plug wires., fuel lines.
I had a van stored by there at aqua dolce, for free but had to replace the fuel lines later and almost blew it up.
mice ate all the fuel lines. i need two 16 inch wheels hot wheels, it looks like
he has two leaning up again the passenger side. thank you i am going to ask him and maybe go up there.
If any body is interested in it let me know and i will tour it on the phone with them if they want, if the phone works
up there in the hills. M. I am going to axe him whats up. It is a good parts pile. if anyone wants to buy it and part it out
or all go in and get it and move it to miguels at monte claire. he has parking and part it out, chip in donation like
for canibalism like romney it. grrrrrrr! like romeny animal sounds out in the dark, fart greeeerrrreer!
I hate it when temptation of this kind hits, we all want it for parts but what a lot of trouble to screw with.
miguel may like to have it for use for the cause, If i could get the short awning, spot light and two rims on the side .
I could go a few hundred or so. plus the bad trans, motor, front end and you guys can have the sewer tank. :-)
throw in the head for you guys. that is if you come and get it. i feel like romney now. i keep the toilet seat grrrrrr!

Michael,
Well spotted!
Word of caution; that is a Birch screen door, and while it is the best screen door ever made (IMHO) for a GMC, they are a BITCH to
get to fit and work properly!
Jeremy Knezek can attest to that fact, last year at Bean Station he and Bob Burkitt spent half an eon getting Jeremy's fit!
As I understand it Alex had the patience of Job making these fit and he designed and made them!
Regards,
Rob

Mickey,
I think you'll find that they are NOT 16 inch wheels they are hubcaps which someone mentioned earlier.
By the way when you signed up to join the GMCnet you must have read this:
Political or religious commentaries or discussions. Only when there is a specific legislative bill or regulatory NPRM directly
related to ownership of GMC motorhomes will political discussions be tolerated.
Therefore I'd suggest you knock off the political comments; this is NOT the place for them. If you don't I GA-RON-TEE you will
become persona non grata pretty quickly and anyone that does not agree with your political philosophy will probably not respond to
your questions.
Regards,
Rob M.

I would expect that the wheels are OEM... 16.5 inch, NOT 16 inch. (But I could be wrong.... )
Might be a nice drive in the hills, but I expect just transporting it anywhere would cost more than it is worth. Anyone have a flat-bed?
The windows LOOK to have multi-part frames... I thought a 1975 would have the "newer" one piece frames. I can not see where the latches are in the pictures.
The screen door is the "find."

i have a 100 mile AAA insurance policy flat bed for rv. I could get it to miguels. if others want to chip in and he wants
it over there. i bet he wants $1k for it. that is to much for me to go for. if it was 500 and five persons gave 100 gave it to miguel
he could part out the $100 to each some way in parts and then keep the rest for the front end and motor or something.
fat chance to happen but i would get it over there i think with AAA. It is about 50 miles or so. we could
send the money to miguel and put it in his name afterwards. to much to do maybe.

Looks like first series windows & side bump strips, 16.5 wheels, no built in vacuum cleaner option, Birch door, Ragusa step, replaced furnace, replaced pass seat but later base and of course that spot light.
