Just noticed this new item at JimK's:
http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/1165
We went camping a couple of nights at Seacliff state beach last week.
Could not BELIEVE the attention the coach got, due mainly to the enormous
pedestrian traffic that place has as a combination beach-walk/RV park.
With a campground full of big box rv's, a GMC really stands out as
something different.

Since I painted the coach last summer, there aren't any logos to clue people in.
One lady walked up, scrutinized the hubcaps, and declared it "Alcoa" to her friends. :-)
Guess these logos would fix that.
Or maybe I should just leave them guessing. :-)

That is also NOT a valid price. I cannot make them for that price. They
will PROBABLY be $2-3 each.
I hope to have them available soon, as I have 2 folks testing them. We
have already identified a problem in the attachment method. These are
made of the same outdoor vinyl that I use for the replacement logos,
but the process of applying the resin to make the 'domed' appearance
causes a very slight concave surface on the back. The 2 testers have
been asked to first apply something like 3M spray trim adhesive to the
Alcoa cap (after removing the old Alcoa logo and cleaning the surface).
I am hoping that solves the adhesion problem (I have Eagle wheels, so I
cannot test myself).
I have also used the same technology to create a GMC logo for that
little blank indentation on the glove box door. It is also being tested
the same way.
Stay tuned for more

Same story. Those things look factory. $3 each is still a deal.

Sully,
Hey, what's the big idea of spending OUR money! I would have said at $2 each they’re a bargain! ;-)
