Just a note about using different diameter tires - the automatic leveling, at least on my '73 is done on the front of one side and the back of the other. So if you put the larger tire on, say, the front of both sides as I did you might later wonder, as I did, why the coach isn't level. Other than that I see no reason for worry about different size tires.
Gary
I use 235 /75/ 16 on my vans they come with 225/75/16 they are an inch in height difference this is for dodge van b3500... They ride much better
but will hit the top of the fender if really forced by a big bump but they ware twice as long and ride twice as easy.
I was thinking of saving money on only the rear rims first and then i thought if you purposely put a much
smaller tire on the very rear tires and bigger one on the front rear tires it would change the ride and how it would do that.
leaving the 16.5 on the very front would be the same and not changed. this is what i was wondering how it would
change the ride. What is the largest tire to put on the gmc. and larger tire do put more stress on the ball joints in front
for they are mass hanging and banging but larger tires on front may allow for more stress to go into the air in the tire.
I am thinking to much and do not know anything about what i am thinking so for get it. :-)

| And don't forget that anything on the front other than OEM size affects the accuracy of the speedometer (and odometer).
