I am at the age where I have entered a 'get rid of stuff' mode so that
my kids won't have to deal with it at some point in the future. I have
a complete Tom Warner front wheel bearing tool kit which includes the
split collar, inserts for pulling and reinstalling the bearing, and the
OTC 927 puller. I added an 8-point socket to allow use of a ratchet
wrench or breaker bar (half inch drive) to drive the forcing screw and
Chris$ provided a very nice case for the whole kit.

I was going to list this on e-bay but decided to offer the kit to
members of this mailing list first. I believe I paid Tom $200 for the
kit back in 1999 and I would like to get at least that amount for it. I
would prefer local pickup since this thing is heavy and with the case it
is fairly large and I hate packing up stuff for shipping. But, if
necessary, I could get it ready and ship it (I have no idea what
shipping cost would be -- probably over $20).

Please let me know if you are interested.

If you still have it when I am down there (just over a month) I would like to buy it. I do not want to get into a bidding war though....

Lee,

If you paid $200 for it in 1999 it considering inflation and the interest you could have earned if it was money in the bank I reckon
you're basically giving it away!

The last one went for $425 on eBay!

Regards,
Rob M.

The $200 tool is not the same as the $400plus unit.
You'll see the two on our site.
