Is there a site that is preferred to download photos so they can be recalled from a post.

While many have gave you the correct answer... no one stated why.
Just to explain I quote from the photo site:
Quote: | IN THE BEGINNING, GMC Motorhome owners were alone with their machines. The information needed to keep them in good repair was controlled by a select group of organizers and vendors. Then, there was a light created by the GMCnet. Information was traded and many myths were dispelled. Netters started posting photos on several, then free, photo hosting sites. One by one, the photo sites either ceased operation or started charging for their services. Many great "how to" photo albums were lost. We have wasted valuable time and content over the last 3 years with web based Photo Sites. Now we have our own GMC Motorhome Photo Site!

So I have tried a few times to download photo's into my first photo album
but so far unable to do so????
I am building a ramp on my sloped driveway. This ramp will take our coach
so that it sits level. The bonus is I
will have a 4 ft wide space by approx 3ft height to get under not only the
coach but the other cars.

Dwayne - check the size of the photos you are trying to upload. The photo side doesn't like large pictures and yours, based on the ones you sent me, are very large.
Here is a quote from the HELP section of the photo site re sizes:
"If you're having some trouble uploading photos.
"Your problem may be that the photos are just too large. They're ~250kb and 1600 x 1200 pixels. The photo site only displays a photo 1/2 that size by default so there is no sense to upload one larger than that unless it is imperitive to show detail. However, if you must, just do one at a time. That will increase your chances of it working right for you.
"Otherwise, use the software that came with your camera to resize the photo by 50% or 800 pixels wide and retain the aspect ratio. Here is some help with that.
"You can replace the photos with the resized ones without having to replace your descriptions by logging in, go to "my albums", choose the correct album by clicking on it's title, click on a photo that needs to be changed, choose 'edit photo', select the revised photo by using the 'browse' button. This will create a new thumbnail, also. You can also delete the extra photos from the album this way."

As a side note related to large photos: if you don't use an image optimizer application, you might check one out. FWIW, I use one called XAT image optimizer. Its free to use, but has a lot of features I would never use for a nominal fee. It will easily whittle a several MEG image down to a modest several hundred Kbyte while preserving enough quality to make the image very usable on the net. Works great for low speed DSL and dialup too, so photo uploads don't take forever. http://xat.com/io/
