Just sitting here this afternoon on my laptop checking out the various GMC websites debating on what my next improvement project will be. Watching the Rockford Files on TV. Look up, and see guest star Pernell Roberts sitting in what looks like a GMC motorhome. Sure enough, its plush, and GMC! Made me laugh. I guess if you're going to watch shows from the 70s, you're bound to catch a glimpse of these things once in a while.

When you mention an actor who was popular in the 70's, my first question is "dead/not dead"

IMDB says he passed at 81.

I don't think there is anyone left from Bonanza, is there?

Galen,

Thanks, I couldn't remember his name!

By the way I lived in Hong Kong and traveled through China for almost 10 years and NEVER heard any Chinese with a name like that!

Okay so Gene said get the video. Didn't do that, but I did track down to Season 4, Episode 21, The House on Willis Avenue Part II, 1:13:30. There's two minutes of Pernell Roberts inside the GMC.

Here's a few low quality screen shots off my laptop and Netflix.

Why, you ask? It's a cold winter night, and I've got the time. Very Happy

Maybe that's because it suffered the same fate as Kong Fu-Zi (known to westerners only as Confucius) or the camel wrangler Hi Jolly (who happened to be know to his friends as Hadji Ali but, his real name was Ali al-Hajaya). By the way, his grave is in Quartzsite.

My family came here as DeCollier (fr. collar maker) but not English could get it right and they gave up about 1800+/-.

Ain't names fun??

mali = mountain and bu means sea in chumash indian language. malibu = where the mountain meets the sea.

Matt,

Family history says that when Grossvater Franz Muller arrived at Ellis Island, the Immigration Officer noted that in American
English "we" don't have those two dots so they added an "e" after the "u."

Quite often my name gets changed to Meuller, or Muller. The worst one I ever saw was when my Dad got a letter addressed to Philip
Muddler.

I did bring a box Mueller's Egg Noodles back the last time I was in the states. You figger out what my nickname was when I was kid
in Hoboken - "Egg Noodles."

Regards,
Rob M.
