Subject: [GMCnet] hot shot on ebay?
I don't know if this is the right part number for our purposes,
but here's a hotshot wheel on ebay, being sold by southwest wheel.
Maybe they still have some around:

item number 320500351714

To explain,
Like most Alcoa's. these wheels are designed as hub centered. The lugs have NO provision to center the wheel. Just like our OEM steel rims, the lug nuts do not enter the face of the wheel. So, also like steel wheels, the larger pilot hole is a problem.
There are other wheels that where designed with lug centering (like the American Eagles) that will work even with larger pilot holes. BUT it is VERY important to have the correct matching lug nuts.

Hub bore too large...
Thanks,

Jim,
Here's a link to the Alcoa fitment sheet:
http://www.southwestwheel.com/pictures5/LTFitment-Screen_10-18-01.pdf
I just uploaded a copy of just the chart to the Photo Site:
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=42249
To answer your question it appears that the backspace and offset doesn't match the Classic 160231 wheels.
Also there are a number of discrepancies in the auction, it lists p/n 163291 in the auction title and then 163251 under Item
Specifics. The numbers in the body of the auction don't match what's in Item Specifics either.
Regards,
Rob M.

Rob,
Will the bolt pattern of that hot shot fit? we can use one if the
bolt pattern is same. We disposed of all the Alcoa catalog when they
quit making them.
