Welcome! It's nice to see folks from the midwest joining the group (doesn't make us feel as bad when we see all the fun the folks down south and in the soutwest are having).

Whereabouts in Wisconsin do you live?

Take a look at the GMC Photo Archive if you haven't already found it.

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/index.php

My pages are at:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=1687

And here is a pic of RayE and I pulling my engine out using a dolly I built:

RayE's photo pages are at:

I have someone local, who specializes in Olds engines, who I will have redo my engine.

Ray,

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum.

First, the group e-mail that you appear to be reading is mirrored on a public access forum. So, anything posted like @ddresses or phone numbers can be collected by spambots. So, if you reply or quote someone, please bot-foul those. It is easy to do a sulin at whatever dot net for @ddresses, and spell the odd digit so it does not match the template.

About rallies, there are four groups that may be doing rallies in your striking range. Six Wheelers are out of the Chicago area, Great Lakers, Eastern States and the national GMCMI.

How to find them and everything else GMC? Start at gmcers.org, scroll down the page, you will probably want to read along the way, at the bottom are a collection of links. Those are the hole that leads you into the gold mine.

Lastly, you will soon find as others have that for some reason a GMC quickly becomes more than just another vehicle or toy, it is much more than that and as a waterman I liken it to the bond a waterman has with his boat. So, I offer all new owners that show up a version of a waterman's greeting to a new owner or vessel.

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all of those that set forth within her.

Welcome Ray

Matt
