That looks like the same jack that came with my coach. But I've not figured
out how it works on the front of the coach

Thanks

Gary,

See Maintenance Manual X-7425 General Information pg 0-3 Jack Usage Instructions.

If you don't have a copy of the manual you can download it here:

http://www.bdub.net/factory-manuals.html

Regards,
Rob M.

PS - as one can see from the picture the GMC jack came with a link chain the one in the add has a different type of chain.

Note to Gary,
You may read the manual, but even if you do, be aware that the factory jack will definitely screw up at least the front bumper when you attempt to use it as directed. I tried it and stopped. I still don't have a jack that could get a front wheel off the ground.

Note to Rob,
The chain in mine is a line chain - too.

Matt

I carry a floor jack under the couch if I need to jack on the road.

When I first got my GMC back in 1981 I used the original jack to raise the front but it appeared to put such a strain on the bumper where the chain went across the bottom of the bumper that I decided to use a bottle jack under the front crossmember ever since.
