Went to look at this the other day and it almost starts. sounds good turning over. Current owner said he was told it needs carb work. Plate says it'll put out 33.4 amps. S/B enough to run my 2 new Carriers and a little more. Any one have any comments on a $100. gen. or the Emerald I series of Onan.

I know a kid who bought an Onan Emerald series generator for $100.00 that a guy was having trouble with, installed it on a rack on the back of his little class-c Mobile Traveler, and loves it. He had to do some minor work on it, come up with a muffler, etc, but he says it never even labors under the load from his AC unit. Your results may vary.

Pretty sure that's what I have.
I can check tonight, but I have a 6500 watt unit that runs 2 AC units, the microwave and an electric water heater all at the same time 8-0
And that's with only one output connected...
I'm sure you heard the sucking sound of the fuel draw too!
