Well i replaced my sliding valve on my recirc toilet because the old one was sticking and leaking. The new one i got from thetford bolted right up but now it doesnt sit in the flange on the floor. Its about a half inch too tall. The new valve seems to be a bit taller than the old and is made entirely of plastic where as the old had a metal backing. I was wondering if anyone else ever encountered this issue and what did they do to corect it?

PS happy new year every body!
