After looking at this picture posted earlier, wouldn't making a 5th-wheel travel trailer be more cost effective? No major regulations to deal with like a motorhome as to powertrain. I would figure that there's no sense reinventing the wheel. In the process, the trailer manufacture would also supply interchangeable parts to keep the GMC alive. The suspension on a travel trailer would not need to be a faithful copy of the GMC.
