Thanks for replies so far. I'm learning alot, venting, anti-freeze in
jpipe, fans. BUT I don't see my 1990 "Aqua Magic" listed in the Thetford parts
list. Surely there has been advances in technology that might point to
replacement instead of tracking down NOS parts. So, if you were replacing
your short toilet, what would you pick? and why? I assume the advertised
"ball valves" are an improvement over my "slicer" style valve? I'm handy
enough to install an electric macerator style and repair it. But is that any
better than a gravity style as far as odor control? Is there any
advantage to ripping out the box stand and using a taller toilet? Is the ceramic
bowl helpful? Thanks, Skip Simpson
