I am scheduled to have a complete knee replacement on Tuesday, December 20th in Alamogordo, NM. Sad I should be home about mid afternoon on Thursday the 22th. Smile This will sideline the GMC driver (GMC content) for about six weeks. Laughing

There have been quite a few of us that have been down that road. I had both replaced this summer (one, then the other one six weeks later). My advice, be sure to do the physical therapy as directed and keep it up. You need to get the flexability back into that knee.

BTW, take the pain meds about an hour before the PT session!

Had my second knee replacement December 5th. You will be up and back on your computer within a week, I predict. Keep remembering that the destination is worth the trip. Good luck.

Bob,

I've never known anyone who had joint replacement surgery and regretted it. They universally wonder why they waited (and suffered!) so long.

Godspeed.

~ Good Luck Ditto On Doing The Physical Therapy ~

I had same day bi-lateral knee replacements and my
surgeon used the ones developed by 'Stryker' for the

I was seriously considering a lawsuit against Stryker Corp,

Knee Surgery has been rescheduled because of bad weather to January 10th.
