Just going to toot Dan Gregg's horn a bit here. Got another bunch of LED lights in from Dan, these now complete the coach. I used "puck" lights from Lowes and wired them direct ot 12 volt when we did the renovation. They came with 10 watt halogens. Even after switching to 5 watt halogen still noticable effect on batteries since we have 21 of these things in the coach. Got the LED replacements from Dan and now I can hardly get a amperage draw reading during normal use. Now Joanne can fire up all 6 lights in the bathroom mirror (and leave them on). Dan even supplied two LED replacements for my "bullet" reading lights over the rear bed. As far as color and brightness, they certainly are brighter but also the same "light" color as the halogens. I was worried they were going to have some type of wierd hue but it's the same.

So if you are looking for a substantial way to save electricity while boondocking give Dan a shout.

(this has not been a paid endorsement ...LOL)

Thanks
